New remake version of the WWII large packs that strap together to make fantastic panniers.

Heavy-duty canvas webbing, adjustable to fit most bikes, with tie-down strap loops.
Approximate dimensions: 32 x 35 x 14 cm.

Please note, these are 1937 pattern type large packs which strap together with the adjustable straps. They work brilliantly as panniers and hold loads of kit. Very durable, '37 pattern kit was used by the British army during WWII and up until the introduction of the 1958 webbing, which we also sell. The picture shows them thrown over a scooter and a classic bike and do have loops at the bottom of each pack for tie downs. They would also benefit from a metal frame or strut to keep them secure but on bikes with external shocks they should work fine.

Please note these are new, made to exactly the same pattern as the original wartime packs using almost identical materials, including brass buckles and fittings. There is a flap inside but rain and moisture will get in over time and they would benefit from a waterproof stuff sack or even a bin liner inside to keep your gear dry. They can be sprayed with Fabsil or Cotton proof to make them more water resistant.
